Went here today for lunch and coffee. Great staff. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We got coffees and food. I got the Tiger latte with coconut and chocolate. Was really very good. My wife got the Scarlett chai latte. Loved it. Spicy chicken wrap was great as well. Would definitely order it again. The music inside was a bit on the loud side, but overall really enjoyed this cafe and will be back
Found this place on DoorDash for a quick lunch on Sunday. How much do we love it? We ordered three times in a week!
Food is tastier than some of the fancy southern restaurants we have been to. I also love the store vibe and they have outdoor dining seats with sunbrella. Price was great and no surcharge on DD either! BTW, I believe they are known for their coffee and will try that next time when we dine there.
Must-try: shrimp & grits, gumbo, & rich girl.
Hands down the best coffee on Culver City if not all of LA. After traveling to Australia for New Years and having some of the best coffee, I was not expecting to have another cup similar to that level of quality here in the States so soon. Food and service were also top-notch! Don't sleep on this place if you're in the area.
I found this place on a whim because I searched "black-owned bakery" in the yelp search. It happened to be 3 minutes from where I was in traffic. I drive by here when taking my daughter to school and never noticed it.
Excellent customer service. It was my first time there and the young lady didn't shy away from giving recommendations. I ended up going with the Bayou Burrito, which is made is shrimp, bell peppers and onions, along with the standard egg and potatoes. I was in a greedy mood so I had turkey bacon added to mine. It was amazing. While waiting, I noticed they had a matcha drink called Green Dragon. It was similar to the green tea frap I get from Starbucks.
I walked in and heard "Just Kickin It" by Xscape playing and I knew I was in the right place! Cool vibes, amazing menu...you just have to go. We had the veggie grits (I'm from the south and I have never had grits with veggies!), sweet cream pancakes with berries and one of the breakfast sandwiches. Everything was so good. I had no problem finding a meter to park on the street. I truly want to try everything on the menu.
When I’ve gone previously they’ve been really nice, but one of the staff today got up on the wrong side of the bed. Maybe she could have used a shot of espresso herself. Took 20 mins to get my drink when ordered ahead of other customers and coffee came out tasting bitter. Anyway, thanks for losing a customer. Friends actually do let friends drinks Starbucks, especially when they have these experiences at businesses.
The specialty ☕️ and atmosphere is to die for. The service is excellent, they smile and take care of everyone and like everyone. The food is a bunch of mushy burritos and very bland. Ideally they would roast their burrito skins and avoid jamming so much iceberg lettice in their wraps. I would suggest to add more spices. The donuts are consistent.
The quality of the coffee is still significantly great. Unfortunately the food is still soso after 2 years.
The food and coffee here is amazing. This place has amazing service too and friendly staff. Easier to order pickup and use the outdoor tables to eat if you wanna save time. A wait of 5-10 mins to get in if you go on the weekends.
The vegetarian sandwich and bagels are worth trying.
